Built in a sheltered bay in 19991 on the island of Mauritius, located off the southeast
coast of Africa on the Indian Ocean, sits the Shandrani Hotel nestled into eighty acres of awe-inspiring tropical gardens. Shandrani means 'goddess of the moon' in Hindi, an alluring name for a magnetic site. Styled in typical Mauretian architecture, the hotel is built of volcanic stone and thatch and overlooks the peaceful crystal waters of Blue Bay.
The Shandriani is more than a hotel; the Shandriani Resort and Spa has adopted the motto of 'Serenity Plus' as its concept. As an all-inclusive resort, payment is made in advance for the package of your choice. No more signing tabs for each transaction; just relax and enjoy your stay! All rooms face the sea, and guests are greeted with cocktails and cool towels.
